Job Description
Analyzes routine demurrage invoices of low to moderate complexity based upon terms of contracts. Negotiate for collection and reduction of payable claims. Issue timely invoices to suppliers and customers. Maintain customer relations to enable timely collections of receivables. May seek guidance from higher level Demurrage personnel on for complex demurrage claims.

Learns and maintains knowledge of factors and conditions affecting the demurrage industry.
Builds relationships with suppliers/customers for timely collection of receivables.
Interfaces with accounting to ensure accurate reporting of demurrage.
Maintains accurate records of all demurrage transactions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
Previous experience with demurrage, marine operations, product scheduling, financial/business analysis, and/or professional level accounting preferred.
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills required.
Excel experience required (able to use pivot tables, lookups, etc.) preferred.
SAP computer skills preferred.
Ability to meet frequent deadlines preferred.
Ability to efficiently and effectively work in fast-paced and team environment preferred.
